Ellens531 81 Posted January 17, 2019 One of my sutures has bled. How are you all taking care of the holes?Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
GradyCat 3,695 Posted January 17, 2019 My surgeon told me not to touch them. Mine were covered with bonding glue of some sort, so I never had the sutures showing or had any bleeding. I think my surgeon said to call her office if there was any bleeding, so you might want to call your doctor. 1 Frustr8 reacted to this

I think my surgeon said to call her office if there was any bleeding, so you might want to call your doctor. This is basically what I was told—to just leave them alone. Mine are glued, followed by steri strips, and then waterproof bandages. One of the waterproof bandages fell off, shortly followed by the steri strips, so I can see one of them, but no blood or anything. As GradyCat recommended, I'd check with your surgeon to see if there's anything you should do for them. Better to have peace of mind than not knowing. 2 Frustr8 and GradyCat reacted to this
