wade5901 23 Posted January 14, 2019 I’ve been struggling lately with to much eating or eating the wrong thing. Still not eating a lot just getting past Christmas. I’ve had some issues with digestion like everyone else and a previous (TMI warning) anal fissure. Miralax instead of Stool softeners are being used. If it wasn’t for the fissures I would use more Fiber. I would like to get back on track and I feel it starts this week. My late night 32oz of tea is not helping Got to cut it out. I’m trying more Keto oriented diet. Body Tech Protein every morning I love the cinnamon Cereal. I was just checking how is everyone else doing. 1 Healthy_life reacted to this
megamedic691 21 Posted January 15, 2019 I am 1 year 1 month post op. I still need to lose 34lbs for my personal GW. 49 for surgeon GW. I was also bad during the holidays, so all weight loss momentum stopped and I regained about 5lbs. It wasn't so much bad food as too much food. So I decided to do a "72 hour pouch re-set". Same as the liquid diet I did for 2 weeks pre-op. (Six Atkins Protein Shakes a day *I prefer premier protein*, Bone Broth in between, all the hot tea and Water I can manage in between, end of day treat of two sugar free ice pops) First 24 hours were great and I felt fabulous. I have now hit hour 30 - I hate everyone and everything (Kidding but not kidding ). Just like when I did it the first time. I have heard great things about even doing this for 48 hours to help the pouch and the brain remember how good small portions can truly be. Here's to the next 42 hours. Meanwhile I am drooling while meal planning and finding new bari-friendly recipes to try. (You look happy in your pic!)
