catwoman7 11,221 Posted January 15, 2019 (edited) at 2.5 months out I had lost 33 lbs. You're losing it way faster than I did. And I eventually lost over 200 lbs. FluffyChix 17,415 Posted January 15, 2019 (edited) You know there is no logic in what you are saying. But I get it! I do. I can relate. Maybe on some level many (all) of us can? I think venting is a healthy thing. If you get it out of you, then it no longer can fester in shame and secrecy. Part of what you are going through is pretty normal, you know. I know I went through it especially right out from surgery for a few months--just inescapable depression for no earthly reason! It came and went like a mood swing. So weird. I'm not depressed. Disappointment, irrational worrying about the future, etc. I think a lot of it comes from the aftermath of anesthesia, plus the gobbledygook baggage we carry. Drink lots of Water. Get out in the sun. Move a LOT!!! WALK!!! When sad, get in the sun, deep breath and walk. Watch comedies. Watch uplifting shows. Limit your exposure (if possible) to anything negative in your life. WALK some more. Drink MORE water. Make concrete things to show your progress...pics, excel spread sheets, food logs charting your weight and measures...etc. It's hard. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it.
