jaytissle55 180 Posted January 10, 2019 This is my first post on BariatricPal and my journey started today!!!! I had my initial consult with my doctor today. My starting and heaviest weight is 286 and I'm 5'10. This is my last opportunity at this due to this being a lifetime of yoyo dieting. I met with pa, dietitian, and surgeon today. I have to have a upper endoscopy scheduled for February, pysch eval, cardiac clearance and clearance from a hematologist. My insurance doesn't require any structured diet but the surgeon requires a 3 month structured diet which is understandable. So I just wanted to introduce myself and hope that I can get some excellent feedback from BariatricPal. I will keep you guys updated on my journey... Read and learn as much as you can on this site, there is a wealth of information here and many folks that are willing and ready to answer your questions/concerns. You got this!!
