Hey all!

I am so thrilled to be here. I'm a newbie & received my approval today for surgery on Feb. 18th, 2005.

My surgeon is Dr. Christine Ren at NYU Medical Center. I am obviously a little nervous & yet so very excited!

To be honest, I have been lurking around this board, & it has put me much more at ease.

You all helped so much without even knowing it!!!

I'd love to get to know you all a bit better so please feel free to say hi!!

If I can be of help to any of you in any way please don't hesitate to ask!

Is it possible to use too many exclamation points?!!!

So psyched to be here & soon to be "a loser"!!

Welcome! I know how excited you are! You day will be here before you know it! Take the time to shop and get all your things in. Browse through the older posts, you will learn lots of things from them.

Dr. Ren is an excellent doctor she too has just come out with a book I believe itis called Living with the Lap Band or something like that. Congratulations and best of luck to you
