Phone holder for the gym

Recommended Posts

Hey, fitness buffs! I need some advice for holding onto my phone during my workouts. Cardio & weight training. I HAVE TO listen to music constantly so I download all my playlists to my phone. All that to say, I'm not looking for music player technology recommendations, just a way to hang onto my phone.

I've tried wearing it in my bra [yuck] and tucking it into my weight belt in front [connection issues] Arm bands don't appeal to me because A. Batwings and B. Friction during arm movements. Any good ideas out there?

I have wireless headphones so location on my body isn't too much of an issue.

Running belts are great. Spandex type fabric you can hide them under your shirt.

If you don't like the feeling of a belt around your waist, try the roosport magnetic pouch. The magnets are surprisingly strong. You can clip it on anytype of waistband. You can put the pocket that holds your phone outside or inside your pants/shorts/jeans. They are great when you travel to keep passports, keys, cell phone and cards.

I was using a simple Water proof neck strap pouch for electronic devices, and Bluetooth - when running.

This isn’t much help, but i literally just put my phone on the ground when lifting and then in the cup holder when i’m doing cardio. I do the wireless headphone thing too.

I bought like an invisible belt that holds my phone too, and it works but it was a waste, i never use it. I also don’t think it comes in all sizes, it’s limited.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
