MG1776 275 Posted January 8, 2019 So my wife is an avid runner and athlete (numerous half marathons, full marathons, ironmans, etc), and she has convinced me that now that I'm 170 lbs lighter, to do a half marathon (13.1 miles) on St. Patrick's Day. This week I have ran 3 and 4 miles without any major issue, just a little sore the next day. I will continue to train the next couple of months to make sure I'm ready to go. Do you think this will be feasible to do? Any tips or advice on training, prepping for the run, etc? TIA!
Jenwill630 119 Posted January 10, 2019 Even at my high weight, I have run half's twice. This is the training that I used and he comes highly recommended: http://www.jeffgalloway.com/training/half-marathon-training/
