FluffyChix 17,415 Posted January 6, 2019 Good luck. It's gonna be hard. At 10.5months a hard boiled egg is still one of the most dense and filling food choices for me. And I can eat anything that stands still long enough. A soft boiled egg is a kinder, more gentle approach that you might have better luck with. 6.5 minute soft boiled egg with a tiny touch of butter or avocado. 2 S@ssen@ch and quana711 reacted to this

Ed_NW 684 Posted January 6, 2019 I tried a fried egg for the first time today. There was a little discomfort at first but it's staying down as well.
Naughty Glitter Goddess 645 Posted January 6, 2019 I love miso soft boiled eggs in ramen. Hard boiled eggs do not agree with me since surgery so I finally tried making them myself. It's one of the easiest "recipes" ever! I just soft boil the eggs, peel right away, wrap them in red miso paste and marinate for 6 hours or overnight. I eat them slightly warm. Or you can see different instructions here: https://www.chopstickchronicles.com/miso-egg/ 1 sillykitty reacted to this
rs 1,473 Posted January 6, 2019 Better you, than me. I simply can't handle eggs anymore since surgery. Not hard boiled, fried, scrambled, etc.
GeminiSky 80 Posted January 6, 2019 I had my surgery on 7/30 and I still cant stomach eggs. Makes me ultra nauseated, especially hardboiled. 1 rs reacted to this

AJP 132 Posted January 7, 2019 Don't get nauseated but def can only eat one hard boiled then full. Fried eggs usually just one. Rarely can I do 2 1 quana711 reacted to this
Jimmy Keller 36 Posted January 7, 2019 I do scramble or fried but runny yolk when fried.I have always loved eggs so it would really suck not to be able to eat them. 1 quana711 reacted to this
S@ssen@ch 745 Posted January 7, 2019 I can eat hard boiled eggs, but as others have said, it's very filling and I have to take my time. I can eat fried eggs and I usually do over medium or scrambled, but I do take my time and don't often get the whole thing down. Especially, if I have a piece of bacon or a few bites of toast with it. I have REALLY turned on to soft boiled eggs. Had one for Breakfast today. 1 quana711 reacted to this
Bari_KS 499 Posted January 7, 2019 I hard boil my egg, smash it with fork, season it, add light mayo and eat it like an egg salad. Yummy! 1 quana711 reacted to this
Letsgetgoing2018 448 Posted January 7, 2019 At six months out, eggs are tolerated by my pouch thankfully because I love eggs. One boiled egg fills me up. 3 clsumrall, quana711 and rs reacted to this
