I havent ventured outside my food choices much because i still cannot eat a lot. Try taking meat/cheese rollups. Pepperonis and cheese. It really depends on how far out you are and what your stomach can tolerate. 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this

sideeye 1,440 Posted January 1, 2019 I've been using Protein Shakes (Orgain chocolate) as a safety net; I store a couple in my work fridge so if I don't have the time or brain space to actually make lunch, I know I have something. I'll typically throw a couple of cheese sticks in there too - again, emergency rations. Otherwise I just try to stay higher-protein for away meals. Sometimes I'll snag kimbap or something, but I usually end up regretting it - for some reason rice manages to make me feel simultaneously overstuffed and unfull. 2 Wanda247 and FluffyChix reacted to this
FluffyChix 17,415 Posted January 1, 2019 Yeah, I'd have emergency rations stored in my locker, then just bring my daily lunch. I'd do easy (things not requiring a knife... haha) and repetitious. turkey rollups lettuce wraps tuna/cottage cheese/egg salad and cucumber slices boiled egg + leftover meat diced with grape tomatoes Soup in a insulated thermous Salad in a jar leftovers from the night before 3 Liz The New Me, Swanton_Bomb and Wanda247 reacted to this
Swanton_Bomb 522 Posted January 1, 2019 I don't bother with bringing things to heat up, I just bring my own tiny version of a Starbuck Protein box, bringing things like cold cuts, cheese sticks, cottage cheese, tuna or chicken salad, cold leftover shrimp or chicken. You can do hard boiled eggs if you dig those, nuts, cut up veggies and hummus and fruit since you are a few years out and probably eating fruits and veggies. I also keep emergency food at work, as FluffyChix recommends: tuna packets, Peanut Butter, low carb crackers, Protein Bars. I work in a busy urban area so I can always run out and grab something, but I try not to do that often because that just makes me face tempting sights and smells like pizza, fast food and bakery goodies at a time of day when I am usually under stress and my resistance is low. Pinterest has a lot of suggestions. 2 Liz The New Me and FluffyChix reacted to this
