jessintn 7 Posted December 28, 2018 I just had surgery on the 26th. Ever since everything has had a metallic taste to it. I don't know if it was the hospital silverware or what. And it's like my sense of smell has suddenly became heightened. Is this normal?Sent from my Moto E (4) using BariatricPal mobile app
Frustr8 7,886 Posted December 28, 2018 Very normal and the metallic taste usually is a remnant of anesthesia . If it still remains for your first post-surg appointment you can mention it to your doctor, but I'm pretty sure I am right. 1 jessintn reacted to this
Swanton_Bomb 522 Posted December 28, 2018 I had that for about 2-3 weeks. I think it is part of ketosis. I get it rarely now. It won't last. 1 FluffyChix reacted to this
