Last Banded Christmas

Today is my 9th and final Christmas with a band. I loved what the band did for me initially but over time it lost its effectiveness. It certainly doesn’t assist or encourage healthy eating but you don’t really realise how disordered your eating is as it becomes your new norm.

For Breakfast I ate a small croissant with honey and half a pain au chocolate and both went down easily. I did start by eating 1 strawberry and a small slice of pineapple but gave up on those as it was just too difficult and uncomfortable.

Im hoping that after RNY I will be able to eat more of the healthy foods that I should be eating.
