Got my first round of labs back

Recommended Posts

I'm almost 3 months post op and just did my first round of blood tests. According to the results I have low HDL and low alkaline phosphatase. When I google what both of these mean, they both talk about malnutrition. Anyone have similar lab results their first round? Should I be worried?

Are you active? You can increase your HDL through exercise.

There are foods you can add into your diet to increase your HDL and it also may increase as you lose weight. I would check with your doctor to determine if there's any cause for concern.

Yeah, I was looking at the list of foods that increase HDL but do not see much on there that I would able to tolerate.
I meet with the doc on Jan 3rd to go over my results
