Only few days in.....

I’m 16 days post op and I don’t think I give myself a chance to get hungry. I stay drinking Water and knocking down Protein. I just started blended/puréed and can’t even eat a quarter to half cup before feeling like I’m going to burst. Not sure if it’s all the liquids I drink or what, but I have to force myself to eat. Only time I want food is when I’m smelling something scrumptious!! I started drinking Protein Water as soon as I got out of the hospital. May be the difference. Not sure how I’ll handle hunger!! Good luck!!

I had mine on the 20th and it was 4 days in when it hit and now mentally I crave so much but I personally know it's not reflux because I had reflux before surgery so I know my reflux issues. So many people talked about not having hunger after surgery but mine woke me up in the middle of the night and was like "Hey you, what are you doing? Eat something!"

Yup that's exactly right!

Thank you for sharing that video FluffyChix. Very informative, and explains very well why acid in your stomach can cause hunger post surgery. It’s very important if you’re feeling hungry, to make sure you’re taking that antacid.
