You are doing great, Fizz! 🔥 I’ve slowed and stalled off and on but made it into onederland as well! I’m at 192currently, so 80 lbs down!! I’m leaving for a cruise on 9/7 and wanted to be 180, but like you, that seems like a steep goal this far along. Lol Definitely not losing at the pace I was. BUT I’m also not exercising, other than walking my dog. Maybe if we both kick it up a notch we will surprise ourselves? I’m game! I bet Spain was fantastic! It’s in my bucket list for sure. Where did you guys go?

We went to Madrid and Alicante- a little town called El Campello. I absolutely fell in love. Was doing some mission work there, am planning on going back next year!

Yes- definitely need to get back into my workout routine.

I have noticed that sometimes when I get I get really hot...anyone else experience that? Sometimes it's with that super full feeling and kinda tired...so I'm thinking dumping? I don't usually actually "dump" until later on... but I can't eat anymore once those symptoms start.

Hi All!! I was a revision from Lapband to sleeve to Rny for severe GERD and I knew going in I would lose slower since I was a third timer. I’m satisfied with my loss. Started at 251 at pre-op and now am 208. My way of losing is so odd. I drop to an all new low and then within 1-2 days I’m up 4-5 lbs and then jump up and down in those 4-5 lbs and then stall and then after another time drop to a new low. Anyone go through this as well? Diet stays same, I think it must be hormones...?

Hey all! Had my 6 month check up. Weighing in at 188. Pretty darn good for starting at 260. Of course I wish it was more but I'm proud of how far I've come. Doc said it'll probably slow down a lot now... hoping my exercise can help counter some or that.

That is so Awesome! Great job! I had my 6 month follow up last Friday and am down to 236 from 335 so I feel healthier and great as well. I feel like I have already slowed down. My nutrition is good, it is the exercise I need to work on for sure.

That's amazing!!! I hope I cross that 100lb mark some day. Yes, exercising got a lot easier the closer to 200 I was. Weights help so much! Keep it up!

So my 8 month post op is a little over 2 weeks away and I’m only 11lbs shy of “Onederland”! HW 451, SW 317, CW 210, GW 175. I’m 44 yrs old and haven’t seen these numbers on the scale in almost 30 years. Thankful for the journey. Hope everyone else is still doing great!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
