Celebrate has a new capsule Multivitamin that is a one a day dose. I really like it as the Celebrate chewables were starting to get old.

How big are the capsules? I may want to try this! My BariLife pills were HUGE and taking 3 twice a day was impossible. For me, at least. Lol

What is everyone eating these days? I’m officially 8 weeks out and honestly, I don’t eat much at all. Lol I’m not complaining because I’m losing (53 lbs since I started the pre-op diet!) 🙌🏼🙌🏼 But I just wondered if others were able to eat more. I eat about four bites of something and I’m done. I can only do my Protein, I can’t imagine having any room for veggies. Lol is this normal? Haha Hope everyone is well!!

I’m 7 weeks and I can usually get down 1 egg and a few soft vegetables for Breakfast, and 2 ounces of meat for lunch and dinner. I have veggies then too but i’ve reconciled myself to the fact that those two ounces of vegetables are going to take me an hour to eat. And I’m determined to eat them because I need the Fiber 😅. In between meals I drink the BariWise hot chocolate or Cappuccino and the Bariatric Choice drink concentrates, which i’ll happily evangelize about if you’re interested.

Try unsweetened applesauce for your Fiber intake - I know everyone is different, but I find it digests well and I don't get that icky full feeling. I mix it with baby food sometimes along with Protein Powder, applesauce has been my godsend. :)

Mostly ground chicken taco meat. Definitely no veggies at the Same time ... 3 to 4 ounces at a time is all I allow myself

Sally have you tried the flavored tuna packs too, wonder if they might make dyno-mite Tuna Salads?

I’m eating but super small portions. What I eat in a day:
AM: Protein coffee Starbucks Decaf espresso with Premier Protein caramel, 1 oz of fiber oatmeal or grits with protein powder, 1oz of applesauce to take meds, vitamins
PM1: 2oz small meal of chicken salad or tuna salad or salmon & spinach or leftovers, Whisps (my fav!!), sometimes a Protein Shake on the hour commute home, 1 oz of yogurt if I’m hungry
PM2: if I’m hungry, sometimes I can’t eat dinner, 2 oz of the PM1 meals, 3oz of clear Protein Drink, sugar free pudding if I want something sweet

I meal prep on Sundays; measure most things, and get 32oz of Water in (trying to do better); I don’t force myself to eat and eating out doesn’t always agree with me🙂

I got the Thai chili, Fluffy Chix mentioned something else with Thai seasoning and it sounded good to me. Got some diet mayo in the fridge, maybe I'll try it this weekend.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
