Dubs12 7 Posted December 17, 2018 Surgery was 12-7. I feel pretty good. I’m doing great with my liquid and Protein intake. This morning, I’m very hungry. I’m sooooo tired of broth and creamed Soup. Any suggestions for a full liquid diet.

batty_vsg 100 Posted December 17, 2018 Take some yogurt and thin it out with some milk (I use either Lactaid 1% or Fair Life Skim.)

BrittneyE 60 Posted December 18, 2018 My surgery was 12/10. I was hungry yesterday for the first time. My sister is 2 years post-op & has been super helpful. I had a slice of the Laughing Cow Babybel cheese and that did the trick. It's super soft and my surgeon approved it under my full liquid. For Breakfast today I had cream of wheat but I made it with a vanilla Adkins Plus Protein Shake instead of water/milk. I made it soupy and I was only able to eat about 3 tablespoons, but I've been full for over 2 hours now!Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
Walter.Sobchak 978 Posted December 18, 2018 I was starving the morning after surgery. Once I was on full liquids I took Campbell’s chunky Soup and put it in the blender and made it into a full liquid. That really helped me. Try to hang in there, it will get easier. madscientistmommy 124 Posted December 18, 2018 I was also hungry. I was able to eat Peanut Butter and hummus about a week after surgery and those were thick enough to make me feel full. I just want to give you some emotional support. I was freaking out that I was hungry and the surgery wouldn’t work for me. I felt full as soon as I could eat firmer things. I have to be careful with sliders. I have lost just over 100 lbs in 7 months. Stay strong! You got this! 1 BrittneyE reacted to this
Dubs12 7 Posted December 19, 2018 Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. For the most part I feel great. I’ve not had any nausea or major aches or pains. Again thanks for your support. 2 CyndieRI and BrittneyE reacted to this
