Orchids&Dragons 9,047 Posted December 17, 2018 Yes, my incisions were closed with staples. It doesn't hurt to have them removed unless they're kept in too long. Maybe a little tweak, but nothing major. If a surgeon intends to super glue the skin, he puts in two layers of the dissolving stitches underneath. If he uses staples to close, he puts in just one layer of dissolving stitches.
