Wedding rings - what to do?

I had to put my rings in our safe months ago. I bought a cheap ring and it’s now way to big. I’ve had my wedding rings for 26 years and now have no ring to wear. When I get to my goal weight I will have my ring resized. I know i am married and the ring on my finger or in the safe isn’t going to change anything .

Mine went flying off my hand in airport and rolled across the floor. I am in the same boat in terms of too soon for resizing. So I wear it on my middle finger. I know it’s there and why!
