I was able to drink Water fine; it did give me the hiccups every time I drank it in the first week or so, but I was able to keep everything down. Thankfully, the hiccuping doesn't happen much anymore. Good thing you've got those popsicles to get yourself some liquids! batty_vsg 100 Posted December 14, 2018 I post-op day 2 as well and thankfully my stomach is tolerating Water. Actually, ice-cold water sounds SO good to me right now.
