AnnaWallace 35 Posted December 13, 2018 I've heard that everyone has a tale when they are full - from sneezing, hiccups, runny nose, etc. I get this awful tightness in my chest and then pain. Sometimes it takes my damn breath away it's so bad. Is it always going to be this way?

It helps me burp and it seems to help tremendously. But only a sip! Hope it helps! Sent from my SM-T837T using BariatricPal mobile app

James Marusek 5,244 Posted December 13, 2018 You are 2 weeks post-op. You said, "I get this awful tightness in my chest and then pain." According to my hospital discharge directions I was told to report such a condition to my surgeon's office. One of the primary concern is a blood clot in the lungs. Do you have shortness of breath? Review this link. Pulmonary Embolism Or it could be something else. Anyways let your surgeon's office know of the complication this close after surgery. 1 paulec74 reacted to this
