danieocean 260 Posted December 11, 2018 I can't believe it already happened! I can fit in a Victoria's Secret bra! I'm soooo excited I cried at the mall. This was a milestone I thought would be way down the road! How is everyone doing with short and long term goals/milestones? I'm almost 2 months post-op and enjoying all the perks to my weightloss...and whining about the bad Sent from my SM-N960U using BariatricPal mobile app 3 5 Krista27, GreenTealael, sillykitty and 5 others reacted to this

Born in Missouri 1,264 Posted December 11, 2018 Being able to sit in "normal" chairs in waiting rooms instead of the extended two-seaters. Not needing an extender during plane rides AND, again, fitting in the seat comfortably without feeling wedged in. More choices with clothing in sizes that don't represent the maximum, some clothing stores, for example, don't carry anything higher than a 4X. (While I enjoy a snugger fit in clothing, I also oddly like that hanging-off-of look as well... sort of like the kid who gets hand-me-downs in a size too large and has to make do. Weird, I know.) 4 Wanda247, FluffyChix, Liz The New Me and 1 other reacted to this
S@ssen@ch 745 Posted December 11, 2018 @danieocean CONGRATS! I had the SAME feeling when I was finally able to find back into my VS bras! HUGE victory! All the same items as Misouri-Lee's Summit above, including the sentiment that I don't like snug fitting clothing anymore. But, my most recent NSV was to go into a clothing store and buy NORMAL size clothes, not a size with a "W" behind it. I nearly cried at that one. 3 danieocean, Liz The New Me and Malcy reacted to this

We're around the same place in our weight loss too! Feels soooo good to toss out the 3x's before I knew it I'm now in an XL!!!! Crazy! I realized when my leggings were sagging and my mother mentioned my pants were so baggy it looked like had "pooped my pants"...it was time to shop for some new clothes LOL 1 Liz The New Me reacted to this

Krista27 341 Posted December 12, 2018 I was so excited when I got into VS bras. My be advice is to not buy to many. I now have a bunch of expensive bras that are at least two sizes to big! 2 danieocean and Liz The New Me reacted to this
Liz The New Me 281 Posted December 12, 2018 Great job, Congrats! On Giving Tuesday I took all my 18/20w pants to the Christin Mission. 6 bags! What a feeling! Found some of my next size down back of the closet. LOL What a feeling of wearing pants that don't feel like you have a load down there. I even had to put a belt on some of them because they would fall off. Now I think back that I should have never gotten my breast reduction 10 years ago. Was a "F" cup to a "D" cup and couldn't move. Now I think I'm loosing it all there. UUGH But I will find this coming summer a swim suit top that will fit and not fall out of. 1 Liz The New Me reacted to this
