SarahBoBera 9 Posted December 9, 2018 I feel like hell and sleeping in my own bed is awful. I miss the hospital bed adjusting to help with back pain. I woke up today feeling pretty awful. And my 15 yr old is not sympathetic at all...but my hubby is being amazing. I've been reading posts in here and relate to the feeling of crying randomly. Man this is rough! Just venting. KimTriesRNY 1,853 Posted December 9, 2018 Teenagers suck. Don’t worry, it gets better. One day at a time it slowly improves and then POOF a year has gone by! 🤗 1 SarahBoBera reacted to this
KCgirl061 1,532 Posted December 9, 2018 aw man you hardly ever hear of people MISSING the hospital bed! Sounds like you might need to sleep in a recliner for a while? 1 SarahBoBera reacted to this
DiscoveringLyn 3 Posted December 9, 2018 I found that putting 2 Pillows one on each side ( that’s way I did not lay directly on my back) helped me sleep through the night on day 4 that’s the best sleep I have had . I’m five days post up and had a full blown emotional breakdown last night surprisingly ( it wasn’t even about the surgery or how I was feeling ) kids overwhelm me a bit but I quickly pulled my self together. It’s ok to cry ! Here i sit 5 days post op and it’s true things slowly get better. 1 SarahBoBera reacted to this

Sophiasmomma17 2 Posted December 10, 2018 I'm on week 3 post op and when I came home from the hospital I had been sleeping on the couch. And I still do now. It's just what is comfortable to me, until I am completely healed. I tried a few times sleeping in bed, but I still have some pain on my sides. The couch might be a good idea for now. SarahBoBera 9 Posted December 10, 2018 So Sarah, did any of those tips help last night? How did you sleep? Still a bit rough last night! But I'm learning a bit of what works. Just had a little nap and was laying on my side! It was nice to have that change. [emoji4]RNY Dec 6, 2018
