HisRed 1 Posted December 5, 2018 (edited) I had my surgery on June 1st, 2018 by Dr. Monk in York, Pa. I've experienced nothing but good from Dr. Monk and his team. I chose this surgeon because he has an amazing sense of humor, a stellar track record, and he preformed my grandmother's bypass years ago. I know I definitely made the right decision. If you are looking for a surgeon in south/central PA, I highly recommend Dr. Monk and his team at Wellspan Bariatric Surgery in York. HisRed 1 Posted December 5, 2018 (edited) P@Jazzy1125 Congratulations to you as well. I'm doing fantastic! I started at 289lbs, was 274 on day of surgery. Now I'm down to 195lbs. Would be lower but I failed Thanksgiving lol. Only issue I had was I developed horrible acid reflux directly after surgery. The more I lose though the better it gets. I only have to take one Prilosec a day. How are you progressing? Edited December 5, 2018 by HisRed
