Delaever 2 Posted December 4, 2018 I’m about to end week two. I’m on full fluids. I lost 15 pounds within the first few days after my surgery which ended as soon as week 2 began. It’s been exactly a week now and I haven’t lost a single pound. In fact I gained a full pound. All I’m consuming is Premier Protein shakes, and Water. Why is this happening? 1 jessicaalyssa reacted to this
Delaever 2 Posted December 4, 2018 I have three shakes a day and TRY to get my Water in. Unfortunately I can’t. But for the most part I don’t get what I’m doing wrong. 1 1 ProudGrammy and GreenTealael reacted to this
KimTriesRNY 1,853 Posted December 4, 2018 You’re not doing anything wrong. It is normal. Stay the course. 6 GreenTealael, The 56 Bypass, Orchids&Dragons and 3 others reacted to this
Orchids&Dragons 9,047 Posted December 4, 2018 Lots of doctors recommend not weighing for the first month because your weight can be so volatile and disheartening in the beginning. You'll be OK, just try to relax. 5 GreenTealael, FluffyChix, The 56 Bypass and 2 others reacted to this
Geodude 66 Posted December 4, 2018 Yeah, this is totally normal. I dropped 35lbs in the first week and a half I sat at 330 for about a week without the scale moving even though I was only taking in 500-600 calories a day. Now weight is melting off me again and I haven't changed a thing. Just stay focused on your plan. Get in that Protein and Water and it will resume before you know it. It is hard to ignore the scale when it is giving so many great numbers so rapidly, but I've decided to try to avoid it and I recommend you do the same. I'm going to try to cut back to once a week instead of every day. 3 The 56 Bypass, Bari_KS and GreenTealael reacted to this
jbossong 2 Posted December 4, 2018 I wouldn’t worry about the weight watch your inches . I was obsessed with the scale for the first month or so and then it would stop going down and at one point I gained weight. When you try in clothes sizes you haven’t been able to wear in forever that’s progress! 2 Bari_KS and GreenTealael reacted to this
Delaever 2 Posted December 5, 2018 Thank you guys for all the responses. I guess I’m getting ahead of myself here and should allow the process to just happen. Love this community
