Jed J 19 Posted December 4, 2018 So day one of the liquid diet is in the books.....turns out I’m not as well read as I should be and also assumed things that I ought not have assumed, for instance finding Protein powders on Kodiak Island. My question is this, I need 80 grams minimum of protein per day and I am lactose intolerant. Any ideas other than dairy free Protein Shakes on how to squeeze that in? Tofu.........I know, but it's flavor neutral, low fat, low carb, low calorie, high protein....I'm still waiting for all my paperwork to process, so I'm not pre-op yet. I will say that silken tofu makes a mean vegan Alfredo sauce, so it can't be **that** bad in shakes...or at least it's better than raw eggs??
