Frustr8 7,886 Posted January 13, 2019 Burping usually means you're swallowing air when you take your liquids and many people don't feel restriction until they get to more solid foods. You're still deep in the learning experience at a month. Its like you do have a tool that no one gives a perfect instruction booklet for. 3 1 drac2you, caryla, Liz The New Me and 1 other reacted to this
brittmarr1 61 Posted January 13, 2019 True —I’ve had to find my own way in a sense. I have received so many different ways to eat and deal with issues from my doctors staff. I’ve actually received more info from people on these sites. Thanks for the help you don’t realize you’ve given 3 Tracyringo, Frustr8 and Liz The New Me reacted to this
Liz The New Me 281 Posted January 13, 2019 So true I also have learned more from this site. You don’t know what to ask if you never been there before. So I read everyone’s and see if it will work for me. I also realize we are all different in some things and the same in others and at different timelines. So appreciate for their advice from their experience. 3 1 Liz The New Me, Frustr8, ProudGrammy and 1 other reacted to this
Jen967 14 Posted January 13, 2019 I was almost 50 in 2017 when I had my sleeve surgery in July of 2017. I've lost 202 pounds since then. So for me the weight loss has been great. Everyone is different. 4 Alpaca55, ProudGrammy, Tracyringo and 1 other reacted to this
looly 361 Posted January 13, 2019 (edited) I've lost 87 lbs as of today, which puts me in 'Onederland' for the first time in about twenty years! Edited January 13, 2019 by looly 2 1 Liz The New Me, Tracyringo and ProudGrammy reacted to this
brittmarr1 61 Posted January 13, 2019 Wow!! Good job!! When was your surgery? Which surgery did you have 2 Tracyringo and Liz The New Me reacted to this
looly 361 Posted January 13, 2019 I had a gastric sleeve on 30th June this year. I lost about 14 lbs before the surgery, but I'm still very pleased with the rate of weight loss since. I put a pound back on over the Christmas holiday, but I've lost it again plus another pound. I lose about a pound a week now, and that's fine by me! 3 Liz The New Me, Tracyringo and ProudGrammy reacted to this

amandamellor18 37 Posted January 14, 2019 DebbyC64 thats wonderful!! I will admit my exercise column needs a lot of work. My skin situation is odd - not sure what I expected but I’m kind of looking like my 84 yo mother, lol. But I don’t care! I feel amazing and have energy like I did in my 30’s. I clearly was in denial about my appearance because people that I haven’t seen in a while are letting me know I looked like a different person. I wish you the very best on your Quest. Maybe we can stay in touch and root each other on? 3 1 ProudGrammy, Liz The New Me, drac2you and 1 other reacted to this

Liz The New Me 281 Posted August 10, 2019 I have no regrets on having the sleeve, BEST decision I ever made. I'm happy where I'm at. But then get upset with myself because I'm not loosing anymore, and think I should loose more. I have been bouncing the 3 pounds up and down for the past going on 3 months now. It get's me depressed about it. I have to get a grip on where I want to be. Hope everyone is doing ok also and enjoying life to the fullest. 5 1 Healthy_life2, Uterno, Tracyringo and 3 others reacted to this
