Nope, usually the longer you keep them alive, the more eggs you can get

Just like sheep don't have to be sacrificed for you to wear wool And cows or goats don't have to perish for you to get milk

If youre really worried, try getting your eggs from a local farmers market/farm and you can ask directly about their humane practices.

I was just wondering. Because as of Thanksgiving I made a decision not to eat dead animals. It might be a phase-might not be, but I'm on my 6th day and it's going good thank you

Laying eggs is a natural process for birds. If there is no rooster around the eggs are not going to grow into a chick. And nobody likes the smell of rotten 🥚!
