Second fill later today

Lucy, My dr told me to come in every 2 weeks if necessary to maintain good restriction. I can feel it getting tighter since fill 2, so I should be ok for a while. Hopefully you will get to the point of good restriction soon. It does help during those moments that my willpower slackens off..

Lucy-That would make me really mad if my dr told me that. The reason you (or your insurance company) paid him umpteen thousand dollars for the band was to help you with your appetite and be able to do all those other things that you weren't able to do totally on your own. It's very frustrating when that band is not working. I'm going for my 2nd fill tomorrow and hoping for more restriction after that because at this point, I have not lost any since I started mushies about 6 weeks ago. My aftercare center has also told me to come in every 2-3 weeks as necessary. Good luck!

I can eat about a cup of food and chew forever unless it is pureed. It also means I'm not hungry an hour after I eat.

Hello All, Hey Dave, you are right. A little over a week from my second fill and it seems the restriction is getting tighter. There are times when I feel like I can't eat anything. I have gone back to a Protein drink to make sure I am getting the Protein and calories I need to keep losing. I am not going to make my Thanksgiving goal :faint: but I'll be there by Sunday.
