I see the Tespo liquid Vitamin machine and vitamin pods are 50% off for black friday... I'm so tempted! But I haven't been able to find enough sleeve users that can tell me if they get goo labs with that system or not. If you use it share your outcome, thanks

Given that Sleevers have no mal-absorption portion of their surgery, then *any* vitamin you take is going to be fine. If you can't stomach pills, then Tespo is an option. There is no controversy around TESPO and any other liquid vitamin. The results are going to be the same as they would be if you were taking pill form Vitamins.< br />
The big controversy is with the Patches. Which I've been using for almost 9+ months now and all my labs are fine. (get my 9 month labs drawn here in another week or so)

Thanks for the comments. It does bring to question why are sleevers required to take bariatric Vitamins for the rest of their lives? We have prescribed the same vitamins as the by passers and is told its because our stomachs are too small to hold enough food to get the required nutrition from our food intake. It makes me wonder if this is just a money maker for the clinics since malabsportion is not an issue. They sell all of these vitamins and such even though you can buy them elsewhere if you choose but they give you a lifelong rx of vitamins. I don't know... you've just got me thinking about it all now LOL...

I'd be inclined to agree with you on this, When I was banded, I didn't actually need any extra vitamins. If someone were eating correctly or "completely" then vitamins aren't going to be needed, at least not ALL of them. I mean, it certainly doesn't hurt to be getting all the vitamins you need just to be sure, but I don't personally believe they are as imperative for sleevers are they are bypassers. If sleevers can eat enough to maintain a proper caloric intake, then you've got enough room to maintain the proper Vitamin intake as well. But you and I both know, *most* folks don't eat correctly.

Matt, thank you for your informed reply. I started Vitamins this am and gagged through them. Do you know if the pods cover all the bariatric minimums? Many thanks Linda

I purchased the Tespo 5 weeks pre surgery and started using the energy and women’s Multi-Vitamin. My husband is not sleeved, and he he loves his men’s daily ad the energy. Total output is about 1 oz and the flavors are not bad. He mixes it with his Keto drink and can’t even tell it’s in there.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
