deargh 52 Posted November 22, 2018 Hello all! I am 5 months out and a 100lbs down. I am honestly so grateful that I got the opportunity to have this operation done. I don’t miss my old life style at all, I now love the gym, I love my lean Protein and veggie meals, I love being able to shop anywhere without worrying about if they’ll carry my size, I love not worrying about taking up too much space on public transport, I love running about everywhere and not feeling the excess weight on my knees and feet. Have I had bad days?? Of course! One day I ate an entire block of brie, another day I ate a slice of pizza. But the difference is now I don’t let my mistakes define. One bad meal isn’t going to get me back where I started. One bad meal isn’t the end of my journey. I accept it, and move on. Maybe i’ll move around even more the next day. I have another 30lbs to go until I hit my goal weight, I will never ever ever be skinny, because i’m naturally curvy and you know what? That’s ok. I own these curves and i’m healthy and curvy! Swanton_Bomb 522 Posted November 22, 2018 Holy cow! You look incredible! I think part of what leads to success with WLS is seeing results so quickly. It is so hard to stay motivated on other plans when you are losing just a few pounds a month. I can imagine that when you look in the mirror, you now have amazing motivation to keep working hard. Congrats! 1 deargh reacted to this

Frustr8 7,886 Posted November 22, 2018 And I am proud to see your success, every pound I lose I get a little less shy about picture taking, maybe sometime after the 1st of 2019 I get brave enough to show,my changes. Now my belly is starting to look like a deflated balloon, you know when the rubber looks misshapen and bulgy, but every pound I lose strenghtens my resolve to keep on. Sometime between September 2019 and March 2020, I am going to look like dynamite, so 🌏 don't wet my fuse so that I sputter. I want a chance to Kaboom with the best! 2 1 Neversaynever, Wanda247 and deargh reacted to this
