hb2392 3 Posted November 22, 2018 I was sleeved September 4th and @ 425lbs, I’m currently I’m at 330. I’ve experienced a few plateaus for like a week and then it falls off. I’ve been at 330 for about 3 weeks now. Any advice or is this normal? Any advice on how to get out of the plateau? Thanks in advance :) 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
TX4everLinds 115 Posted November 22, 2018 I was told to increase Water and start moving more. I plateaued a little earlier than you. My surgery was 9/5 and I only lost 2.4 lbs all of October! I think my body thought I was dying and was trying to save me. Since November 1 I’ve been losing steadily again. My dietician said I was not eating enough in October. I was struggling with reflux etc so my metabolism was quitting on me. Just stick to it and try to hit those goals. It will vary but it will keep going down! 2 Orchids&Dragons and GreenTealael reacted to this
Jazzy1125 1,010 Posted November 22, 2018 I am two weeks post op today. I havent hit a stall yet, but i am sure it is coming as i start puree foods today. I missed walking the last two days due to busy schedules and not getting home till 10 pm last night and 9pm the night before. I am going to try and make up for it today and tomorrow by doing 2 miles instead of 1.. and then maybe just do two miles a day going forward. I just want to make sure i am eating enough for that amount of walking. Up until now i was only taking in 350 calories a day, and burning off 200 just in the walk never mind the rest of the day.. Here is to the next phase.
