Georgetown 255 Posted November 20, 2018 Had my surgery 5 weeks ago today. Seems like longer! I did have a stall for a week or so but I got on the scale this morning and I’m down 2 more pounds! I’ve been able to tolerate most foods. Sometimes I forget to chew well enough or eat to fast. I’m happy to say that I can drink coffee again. It tasted awful for the first few weeks. I made cauliflower pizza the other night and it was delicious! My family had regular pizza and I ate mine and didn’t feel deprived. They all tried mine and loved it! I see my doctor tomorrow for my follow up. I hope you all have a happy thanksgiving. CyndieRI 251 Posted November 20, 2018 That’s awesome! I’ll be 5 weeks tomorrow! I feel great except I am having a tough time with meat (and I LOVE meat!). I’m in a stall right now - I have a digital scare and I’ve been at 300.8 for a week!! Why couldn’t the stall have been at 299.8?? At least I’d be under 300 - lol! I’m hoping mine ends soon! I loved cauliflower pizza with grilled chicken and red peppers prior to surgery. I was thinking of trying again but I wasn’t sure how I would tolerate it. Your post has given me hope that I might be able to (well, probably not with chicken!). Have you tried the Califlour crusts? They are amazing!! Good luck with your follow up appointment and Happy Thanksgiving!! 1 ElectricBoogaloo reacted to this

I just need to chew it really well! What’s the califlour crust? Is that a brand? I didn’t mind making it but if I can find a good prepared one, that would be better! Happy thanksgiving to you too! 2 CyndieRI and aussiemomdinoaunt reacted to this

Hello neighbor!! I live in Coventry RI so I’m maybe 10 minutes from CT! Yes - Califlour is a brand. I buy it online. They have several different flavors and they are all good! And if you check out the nutritional information, they are really good for you too!!
