Thanks so much for the encouragement. Tomorrow is my procedure at 8:30am. I've lost 15 pounds on my liquid diet this past week. Officially 345 today!

My advice is sugar free popxicles. They count as liquid and feel so good going down.

I'm 9 days out from my surgery. Walking helps with all the medical stuff and the boredom in the hospital and at home.

I’m still having lots of pain from surgery. I wish the dr would give me stronger medicine. I’m onky on panadol 3 x day. Is this normal?

I had pain for first 5 days then I was ok. My Doc prescribed hydracodone. It worked well to kepp pain in check.

Hi Bypass lady. I'm in Vic too. Scheduled for my revision from band to RNY in Jan. If you are in a lot of pain I would advise you to call your surgeons room and see what they advise.

My gas pain wasn't bad.
I had surgery at 7am and was walking by 3pm. I think that really helped. Every time I would wake up I would walk a lap down the hall

Good luck on your surgery, I'm sure you will do great. I'm 6 days post op and I'm doing really well. Just make sure your first week post op you get all you liquids and Protein in.
