Jazzy1125 1,010 Posted November 16, 2018 I am only a week out. I am hoping they fade as the healing process continues.

PaulE I was in a car wreck last year and have all types of scars...surgical and from injury. I used ScarAway pretty early on most of my surgical scars and things have healed quite well. I'd recommend for use on anything. Here's a pic of what I used. Also, here's a pic of my wrist that I had surgery on to fix broken bones...left pic is right when I started using the gel and 2nd pic is today, however, the today pic is roughly how it looked ~4mo after using the gel. S@ssen@ch 745 Posted November 16, 2018 I wasn't aware of the ScarAway product. Looks like it's very effective. I started using Bio Oil as soon as my incisions were healed enough for me to feel safe in applying. Maybe after 2 weeks? I use it after every shower and because it's made my skin so soft and supple, I use it everywhere. At 7 months out, my scars are so faded that I have to look for them. Bio Oil even helped with my stretch marks. 1 paulec74 reacted to this

It creates a protective barrier and helps healing. You can also buy silicone strips. They can get pricey, but the stuff is worth it. Not sure why I never tried Bio-Oil. My mom and sister swore by it for a long time for stretchmarks. Most of my tiny, thin scars are completely gone that I can't even take pics of them. 1 paulec74 reacted to this
ElectricBoogaloo 337 Posted November 16, 2018 I use Kelo-cote (similar to ScarAway). Has worked amazingly for me. 2 Cynisca and 🅺🅸🅼🅼🅸🅴🅺 reacted to this
