Oct517 527 Posted November 11, 2018 Broke up with my significant other a few months before surgery, I dated around a bit in those few months but once I went in for surgery I decided to delete all my dating profiles and pretty much stop looking for someone in order to focus on myself. I. Not about 6 weeks out from surgery and I'm starting to get antsy. How long did all of you single people wait before going back into the dating scene? I have a lot of worries about dating now like not being able to eat or drink, my body changing drastically over the next year so my potential partner would have to adjust with me, finding someone who is on the same page with me eating/health wise... abefroman329 704 Posted November 15, 2018 I'm not single, but I would say that by 6 months out your eating should be mostly stabilized, and you should be able to buy some nicer clothes you can wear on your dates (without worrying about them being too big on you very shortly). As for drinking, I drank my face off last weekend, and it went about the same as it would have prior to the surgery (with the added bonus that I had a lot more energy and wasn't yawning by 10 pm). 2 Oct517 and Frustr8 reacted to this
