DadtoSuperG 4 Posted November 10, 2018 I was told during the puréed portion of my post-bypass diet, I could have stage 2 baby food. Has anyone done this and we’re there any that were good (or horrible)? Just trying to get all my options together before surgery. Thanks in advance!
toodlerue 452 Posted November 10, 2018 I bought some but didn’t eat it. I just Puréed whatever I had made for the family. My puréed chicken with made with broth was way better then premade baby food! 2 FluffyChix and DadtoSuperG reacted to this
Lillymunster 49 Posted November 12, 2018 My program said no to baby food. They told us that it didn’t have enough Protein and had too many carbs. I haven’t looked at a label though.
Sweettoothless 100 Posted November 15, 2018 I just started the pureed diet this afternoon! Had 1/4 cup cottage cheese. My plan includes only stage one baby food. I bought one of each meat to have in the pantry if needed, hopefully they don't taste like butt. 1 Frustr8 reacted to this
Frustr8 7,886 Posted November 15, 2018 I would prefer that to chicken Bone Broth, it tastes like what was, a chicken carcass someone stewed and stewed. Need to add some veggies even if I have to really strain them out, they grant some glamor and taste.
countrygal7782 2 Posted November 15, 2018 I have been on puree diet for a week now and have used stage 1, 2 and 3 baby food with approval from my program. So far I have found that the meat ones are not so good, the veggie ones are rather bland and some have a strange after taste but the fruit ones are good. Highly recommend the Hawaiian Delight by Gerber. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using BariatricPal mobile app
