asillygirl 0 Posted November 11, 2007 Hello...I am excited and a little nervous about my Lap Band surgery. I am scheduled for surgery on 11/13/07. My surgeon is great and I have been comforted with all the information he has provided. I seriously thought this day would never come...I have been preparing since July for this surgery. My doc required a psych test, sleep study, and pre surgery diet...so needless to say I am glad all of that is behind me and now I can try and believe that this surgery is going to happen. Anyways....I am trying to compile a shopping list for my post op diet. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks.
Cherlita 0 Posted November 12, 2007 suggest you search for "shopping list". Many bandsters have posted info. here is a good thread... http://www.lapbandtalk.com/f84/pre-op-lap-band-shopping-list-41927/ Have a Great Week! Cherlita
georgia girl 35 Posted November 12, 2007 Hi Sillygirl (love the SN)! Welcome to LBT! Congrats on your surgery. Most doctors have different post-op instructions, so what are your post-op instructions? I had to do Clear liquids for a week so I bought lots of Jello, popsicles, broth(which I could not drink-hate the taste), low sugar apple juice and bottled Water. Congrats again and good luck on your surgery tomorrow!
Princessannod1 0 Posted November 12, 2007
I am nervous but excited about how I will look in the next year. I have so much on mind that I can't take this my mind is racing. I think I will live on this board for the next twenty four hours. I have to go get my nails done. Must look as good and natural as possible for the surgery.
