I am a Physical Therapist in the ICU and I feel the same way. My surgery is scheduled for 12/17 and I think being in healthcare is a blessing and a curse. I am terrified of complications but I do know several ICU nurses that have had huge success with this surgery. Looks like we are close in time frame and I will be watching to see how you are doing!!
