Georgetown 255 Posted October 26, 2018 I’m almost two weeks post op and I just cannot tolerate the Protein Shakes. The past few days my stomach has not been happy. This morning I tried a clear Protein Drink from Premier Protein. It has whey Protein in it but no other dairy. I drank it no problem and had no gas and was not running to the bathroom. Then in the afternoon I tried a plant based Protein Powder with milk and within a few minutes of starting it my stomach was gurgling! Any suggestions on what I can add to a powdered Protein Shake that’s not milk? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

chuckwalsh 122 Posted October 27, 2018 The Protein mix I have is plant based but I use Water to mix it.. I tried milk before surgery didnt like it.. so maybe just use water instead of milk?
