hwequestrian 38 Posted October 26, 2018 Anyone out there in your 20s? I’m 25. I’m slightly embarrassed to be so young needing surgery, but I’m happy to have a chance to enjoy the rest of my 20s as a healthy person. 3 GreenTealael, EZL and ProudGrammy reacted to this
J San 1,071 Posted October 26, 2018 I'm only 15. Well in my mind anyway. Seriously though, DO NOT be embarrassed at all. Be happy that you are so young and able to do this. Think of all the years ahead of you that you can enjoy so much better because of WLS. 2 1 2 MargoCL, GreenTealael, ProudGrammy and 2 others reacted to this

Good luck with your surgery! I am scheduled for bypass on 2/13. What made you decide on the duodenal switch procedure? I had never even heard of it until one of my required life skills classes. I do not believe that my surgeon's office offers it so I am just curious about what it is. 1 BrooklynKay reacted to this
