Those are good goals.

According to my kids I have no butt - I'm an apple which I hate. Apparently having a flat ass is not a good thing, some celebs pay lots of money to get theirs made bigger

Walking up a flight of stairs without gasping for breath.

Enjoying what use to be my hour regular walk with lots of hills

After having a soak in the bath, getting out of my bath easily without having to contort myself

Not having to buy tops that are a size too big so as to fit my breasts

Being energetic in general

Riding a bike again. (I've done it at nearly my current weight, but it's hard. Also, the bike store employees look disbelieving. Also, above about 250 pounds your options for bikes really taper down to nothing. Below 220, even a folding bike is fine.)

Going kayaking.

Loooooooooooooooong walks. And hikes.

I enjoy bushwalking, so much nicer than walking aimlessly round suburbia. We went on holiday to Vietnam earlier this year and spent a couple of days trekking in Sapa, it was amazing. The scenery is spectacular

Some of the things I’m looking forward to....

Taking a plane ride and not needing a seatbelt extender....

Being able to ride a horse again (haven’t been able to in 20+ years)....

Keeping up with my husband when we walk.....

Buying clothes in a regular store. (I currently only buy online because I never want to go clothes shopping)....

And I think #1 - not having to look at the restaurant pictures before I select which all-inclusive resort to go to on vacation - to make sure they don’t have arms on the chairs! (Yes - I had this problem the first time I went on vacation with my husband. SO embarrassing!!)

And now I can't get the image of Daisy Duck out of my head. 🤣

My boobs sticking out further than my belly !

I've got the same problem right now. Of course the majority of the 50 lbs I lost had to come off from my breasts instead of my waist. 😡. I suppose I can rely on push up bras and inserts until it evens out again. I miss my curves 😭.

My shower is coffin sized. Now I can easily bend over to shave my legs.

I also have a tiny shower , I’ve given up trying to shave my legs in there. Not only because it’s difficult to bend over but I also can’t see the hairs without my glasses on! It’s much easier to shave before I get in the shower

Seeing my vagina so when I'm shaving I don't shave my nails. I've done that so many times. It's not so bad when I have acrylics on but man does it hurt when I don't have them done.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
