mousecat88 2,281 Posted October 25, 2018 I am having trouble finding many items in the BariatricPal Store that does not have whey in it. Anyone here familiar with any products on there that are whey-free? I've clicked through a bunch with no luck, except for the sloppy joes.
Alex Brecher 10,515 Posted October 25, 2018 We don't have many vegan options. I suggest doing a quick search like https://store.bariatricpal.com/pages/search-results-page?q=vegan to see our Vegan options.
Frustr8 7,886 Posted October 25, 2018 And piggy-backing myself in here, found something new at my Wal-Mart. Called Purely Inspired Organic Protein Plant-based Nutritional shake still 20 gr of protein, pea/brown rice based, I got the French vanilla, I think I can sorta feel the base but quite drinkable. Not that much more than the traditionals, I have been having some dairy issues myself, think I will have no trouble drinking the 4-pack. 1 mskami77 reacted to this
Alex Brecher 10,515 Posted October 25, 2018 We tried releasing a line of pea based Protein powders but they tasted horrible and we just couldn't get it to taste awesome. I haven't given up on that project but it's not at the top of our list at the moment.

Ripple, Vega, and tone it up are pretty good. They do need some boosting from the sugar free Torani flavors. You can also use Flavored Stevia to add flavor. We started selling Devotion Nutrition packets which are really awesome and much easier to carry on the go than syrops. 2 GizzlyKitten and MargoCL reacted to this
mousecat88 2,281 Posted December 7, 2018 Thank you. I'm not vegetarian or vegan, I just get sick from whey Proteins specifically. I can have milk/yogurt/etc totally fine... but when it's a whey shake... super nauseous. I use soy Protein Shakes. I've found a few things off the bariatricpal site that I've ordered, like the lentil curry and the sloppy joe mix. I did order the oatmeal, which I believe is whey, but sometime it's hit or miss so I'm going to give it a shot! 1 sillykitty reacted to this
