OriginalGaPeach 28 Posted October 24, 2018 Hi, today is my week 2 Post-op!! I'm still feeling light headed if I stand to long, I want to walk more but it's difficult when I have to lay down so quickly after being dizzy. I'm happy most of the time...yet I feel lonely a lot and tired of sitting around the house. [emoji9] Live...Love...Laugh [emoji3]

But ensuring you've got proper hydration is the first step in making sure you are doing ok. That and Protein intake this early out from surgery. Don't feel alone, you are far from it! It's a tough change, but it's well worth it, just keep reminding yourself as to why you wanted the surgery! 5 Wanda247, Separ1418, ProudGrammy and 2 others reacted to this
redhead_che 824 Posted October 24, 2018 I will say I had this 2 month period of being dizzy to the point of falling sometimes, but it wasn't as soon post-op as you are. I agree with the hydration comment, however I'll throw in my experience: my surgeon ran labwork, all came back normal, and he said, "well sometimes this just happens" and that's all the explanation I got! So maybe if you have a follow up soon involving blood work that can help provide some reassurance if things all come back normal. 2 OriginalGaPeach and clsumrall reacted to this
Ed_NW 684 Posted October 24, 2018 Dehydration causes low blood pressure leading to dizziness. I'm on blood pressure meds and anytime I start to loose weight, my blood pressure fluctuates and my doctor will adjust my dosage. The first indications I get are usually dizziness. 1 clsumrall reacted to this

I've graduated from sipping to at least 2 gulps here and there. But then it feels like it's stuck in my chest all day...Live...Love...Laugh [emoji3] 1 Matt Z reacted to this
