ummyasmin 1,603 Posted October 18, 2018 I did it! I'm out the other side of surgery, this is my second full day post-op.After surgery I felt like a donkey had kicked me, yesterday I felt like it was just a large dog. Today, a small terrier, maybe. So you just have to get through the first 24—48 sucky hours and then it will be OK!Also my suggestion is ask for all the pain relief drugs they are willing to give you. Does make a difference!I'm on liquids now but in the hospital they gave me Dutch Rusks to actually eat which was beyond weird. I never thought I'd be eating anything for a month. But I'd brought over enough Protein Shake powders to keep a small army travelling so that's what I'm having for brekkie, lunch and tea now.All the bestUmmYasminSent from my SM-G930F using BariatricPal mobile app 3 1 CrankyMagpie, Lola4rmKona, Ed_NW and 1 other reacted to this

Bets advice is stay hydrated and rest up. You have a whole new wonderful world waiting for you to begin as soon as you leave hospital. Frustr8 7,886 Posted October 19, 2018 Mr U did not care for the MOOD MUSIC🎶🎹🎶? Well perhaps it will settle down soon, maybe you need a gas-release medicine, over here we have Gas-X, perhaps a warm cuppa tea would help?🍵Would giggle but when it happens. to YOU it is not as Humorous, is it?
