Healthy_life 1,437 Posted October 15, 2018 Should be having surgery on the 24th or are you scheduled? If you are scheduled I'm sure you have been through the pre operation class to know what to expect. Fear of surgery procedures is normal. Know that your surgeon and team will take great care of you. I hope you have no regret in treating obesity and living a healthy life. 1 overthinker reacted to this
Ed_NW 684 Posted October 15, 2018 Start binge watching YouTube videos on WLS. You will have so much knowledge of this stuff after a week, you could start giving seminars. Research and knowledge puts a mind at ease. It's the fear of the unknown that gets us. 1 overthinker reacted to this

CyndieRI 251 Posted October 15, 2018 I don’t know what obesity level 2 is but my highest weight was 365 and my surgery weight was 327. For me - the risks of NOT having surgery were worse than having the surgery (gastric sleeve). I had no problem with the anesthesia and my only problem after surgery has been really bad heartburn, but even that is getting better every day (surgery was 10/10). Best of luck to you!! 2 overthinker and Frustr8 reacted to this
Lynn Cannon 49 Posted October 16, 2018 So true that the health risks we are facing are very scary. I was very nervous of being put under and I shared that with the Anesthesiologist. He had the nurse hold my hand and kept talking to me and he let me hold the facemask and I went to sleep very peacefully.Good luck 🤗🤗🤗 2 shazz73 and CyndieRI reacted to this
