jultrim18 132 Posted October 14, 2018 I am 8 weeks post op. Yesterday I went to a baptism. There was cake, and I decided to have a few bites of my piece. Oh my goodness! I completely forgot about the dumping syndrome! I was in the car on my way home. It was a 1.5hour drive. I thought I was going to die. My poor belly. I was so nauseous and lightheaded and cramping so bad. I never want that to happen again. Anyone else experience this? Also, this was my first “cheat” and I can’t help but feel guilty. 1 GreenTealael reacted to this

Always try new foods at home, for this very reason. Sounds like classic dumping syndrome. 3 John Kitsu, GreenTealael and Spellbound reacted to this

GreenTealael 25,430 Posted October 14, 2018 I feel your pain, literally. I second the motion to only try new things at home and things with sketchy carb and fat content proceed with caution Safe Journey!
