jultrim18 132 Posted October 6, 2018 I am 7 weeks in. I still have no idea what to eat. I’ll tell you what I ate yesterday. Morning: 1 cup fairlife milk (120 cals) Lunch: 2 cheese ball Snacks (140 cals) Snack: Plum Snack: 1/2 cup turkey chili Dinner: 4 thin slices of steak Snack: 1/2 cup Wendy’s chili See? I just suck at eating. Also, I don’t know what to eat if I’m out. I want something easy. 1 Liz The New Me reacted to this
KC Chris 9 Posted October 6, 2018 You need to speak with your surgeon on a meal plan. Seems to me you are not eating enough Protein with what you listed. Should be getting approximately 60 grams of protein per day.
photogirl70 142 Posted October 6, 2018 While everyone is different, you should go by what your team has given you for what to eat and how much. Here is my typical day. Breakfast: Premier Protein shake Lunch: Pan Seared Shrimp w/ cajun seasoning 3 oz Snack: Harvest Snaps (I need to quit these because I end up eating too many) Dinner: Varies - usually something my my recipe list for example Greek Turkey Burger, Salmon, Steak, panned seared tilapia, chicken (cooked in a variety of ways NOT fried) - most meat is 3-4 oz. I will often have a tiny little spinach salad topped with 1 sliced strawberry, 1 T of blue cheese, and 1 t goddess dressing or a small serving of sauteed onions w/ squash or zucchini. Sometimes, I will have some of my dinner and then save some of a snack. Most days I'm getting anywhere from 70-90 g of Protein. There have been a few days where I was 60-70 and a few days where I was over 90. I would be happy to share my recipe document with you if you would like just drop me a message. If I'm out, it depends on where I go, but if it's fast food, whatever I order would most likely be served protein style (no bun). I've gone out for sushi and order with light or no rice, gyros and just had the meat, and fajitas. 1 Sleeved36 reacted to this

I only have shakes now if I know I won't meet my Protein goals or want to add some to my coffee (1/3 bottle with Decaf coffee). 40cal, 10 gr proteinMy Breakfast is often light and fit dannon yogurt 80cal, 13 g protein with 2 Tbsp of ground flax 70 cal Lunch tuna creations 70 cal, 15 gr protein. 2 oz cottage cheese 40 cal, 8 gr protein2nd lunch 2 oz deli turkey 12g protein cheese stick , 5 gr proteinDinner 2 oz chicken, 14 gr protein, cottage cheese 2oz 8 gr proteinIf I'm still short I add Peanut Butter or other high protein snack. I mix up my meals, but work day lunches tend to go tuna just because I don't have to measure. My daily cals are 600 - 700 pending day of week. 1 Sleeved36 reacted to this
looly 361 Posted October 6, 2018 My eating plan is: real food, not processed eat when I'm hungry, stop when I'm not lay off the booze. I can only remember three rules at a time...seems to be working quite well! 😊 2 Sleeved36 and Ed_NW reacted to this

Isn't it legal to buy beer at 15 or 16 in the UK as long as you're having a meal? That's awesome!
looly 361 Posted October 7, 2018 No - you've got to be 18 to buy booze. But children can go in a pub as long as they're with adults who order food. Then they can have a sneaky sip of dad's beer when he's not looking! 😉
