Swimmer 199 Posted November 3, 2018 I graphed my loss which happened over my first 16 months after my sleeve and found a predictable and at times frustrating pattern. I would lose a big amount over one week and stall three. Every single month but I noticed during the stalls my clothes fit differently. I had no choice but to keep going since I had the surgery and I would have given up before because I felt like I was doing all the right things with no reward. But that reward came and I learned to be more patient in the process. When was the last time you lost so much in two months? Be present enjoy the ride. Cheers you're doing amazing! 4 ElectricBoogaloo, chicagogirl74, TX4everLinds and 1 other reacted to this
Kjohnson*1 27 Posted November 3, 2018 I’m only about 6 weeks out but I’m starting into that pattern as well, seems that my losses all come right after my period
NCGIRL88 24 Posted November 4, 2018 (edited) I am 5 months post and I have stalled similar to another poster. I will lose 1-4 lbs in weight and then stall for 3-4 weeks with no loss. I have lost 58 lbs. I think the best thing to do is see this as a lifestyle and not a diet. This allows me to feel like no matter what the scale says, I am progressing in a new healthier way. My body does not lose weight each week. However, I am smaller and my clothing sizes goes down even when the scale is not showing weight loss. This has been completely different for me and it messes with your head. It worried me at first, but I see that my journey is mine alone and I can't worry or compare what others journeys are. I have no choice but to be more patient with the progress. It does work.
