KCgirl061 1,532 Posted October 1, 2018 My multi gives me nausea when I take it. I take it right before bed to try to minimize the effects. Is there any particular food items I can take with it to curb the nausea? Any help is appreciated!
photogirl70 142 Posted October 1, 2018 I take mine right after I eat lunch. If I forget it at lunch, then I take it right after I eat supper. That's the only way I can take them without getting nauseous. I know we are supposed to wait to drink but I just take them with one good drink of Water. My NUT and surgeon both said that was fine. Try adding a ginger root capsule to your routine, ginger helps calm nausea as well as a slew of other benefits.
Sleeved36 356 Posted October 1, 2018 What kind do you take? Just wondering if some brands go down better . . . .. I get nauseous too. I take opurity. It really helped when I switched from the chewable to the capsule. Still happens sometimes though.
sillykitty 10,776 Posted October 1, 2018 (edited) A lot of Vitamins make me terribly nauseas. But I now take Whole Foods Prenatal that my surgeon's PA recomended. I can take it on an empty stomach no problem Edited October 1, 2018 by sillykitty 1 Sleeved36 reacted to this
Frustr8 7,886 Posted October 1, 2018 Rather swear by Prenatal Vitamins than to swear at the can't chew, must crush varieties, did get Baritasic dissolving, they are passable but give me prenatal, and mine is not unreasonable sized, much less than the M&M doctors say not to try swallowing whole. And Whole Foods, never had a problem with them, especially OTC meds.
