FancyChristine15 810 Posted October 1, 2018 I'm a little over 6 months post op, and this is my first week that I didn't lose some weight. I'm trying not to upset, because I had a big weight loss last week, a little over 6 pounds. I'm meticulous about tracking what I eat and drink, so I know that I've eaten well and drank well. I've also been exercising more than usual, so I think that the number will eventually show what I've been doing. 1 FluffyChix reacted to this

Your body will stall out or pause sometimes before another flush of fat. If you just had a very big weight loss week, this makes sense that you wouldn't this week. Your body tries to keep things status quo, so it fights the weight loss every now and again. Just keep tracking, keep your water intake high (like 128oz a day high) and things will work themselves out. Also, if you aren't paying attention to your BMR, do so, as we age and as we lose weight, our BMR drops, so we have to adjust things to compensate. 3 1 MargoCL, FancyChristine15, LauriW and 1 other reacted to this

Yes, I do track my water. On an average day, I get 95oz. So, I can definitely get that increased.

Just stay the course and you'll be just fine! 1 1 FancyChristine15 and FluffyChix reacted to this
FluffyChix 17,415 Posted October 1, 2018 It can be devastating and feel like 'I'll never lose again...'! But stay the course. Keep focused and positive. It'll be ok. Sorry you're having a sucky moment! Congrats on the losses so far!!! 1 FancyChristine15 reacted to this
SleeveinIL 386 Posted October 1, 2018 I noticed we had surgery only 4 days apart. First let me say you have already done an amazing job with your weight loss! I had a 3 weeks stall recently that finally broke last week and I was so thrilled to see the scale move again. I was still losing inches during that time as I bet you are too. My surgeon was not concerned at all when I saw him last week. You will break through this stall! I found increasing my Water intake helped a lot to get things moving again. 3 1 FluffyChix, Wanda247, Svdlux23 and 1 other reacted to this
YeahOkay31 651 Posted October 1, 2018 Lady, I'm right there with ya. The stall is brutal. Especially when you know you are doing everything right. Here's to hoping you see a big loss next week. Hope we both do! 1 FluffyChix reacted to this
